MaryEllen from Sebastian FL | Scuba Diver

Have been lucky enough to dive in Eleuthera Bahamas and some cool quarries in Alabama and Tennessee. Also Vortex Springs in Fl. and cold Lake Erie! Live right near Lake Erie so looking forwards to some wreck diving this summer. (Glad to add NAUI Advanced cert. had a blast diving shipwrecks in 1000 islands this summer.) The Islander, St. Louis, Vickery, Gaskin, Keystorm, Kinghorn, & America wrecks so far. I am now hooked on ship wrecks and the wonderful people to dive and hang with in the 1000 islands. Even took a try at GUE Fundamentals...maybe next time! And just got back from Key West & the Vandenburg! Way cool!

I’ve yet to dive in Erie. Will have to bone up, then compare notes with you! Love the Gaskin and the Kingshorn... My favorite is probably The Henry C. Daryaw. Also out of Brockville.

Yeah! Great diving at the 1000 islands! So much in charters as well as shore diving. Mostly I spend time on the Canadian side near Brockville and east. Check out Lock 21 if you haven’t already. It’s in Cardinal Ontario... formerly the Cornwall Canal (since replaced by the St. Lawrence Seaway) one of my shore favorites! :)
