Hi Marc,

I see you’re listed as looking for a dive buddy but you’ve given almost no information about yourself. Well, to break the ice and possibly gain a diver buddy... I write.

I’m new to diving but I think I’m doing better than average. I’ve got all my gear besides tanks and have been heading over to Monterey. It’s a 2.5 hour trip from Ripon so I’m more motivated to finding a buddy in route to rideshare as well as well. I’m also going to try spear fishing sooner or later, but will rely on someone to mentor me as far as the seemingly complex laws. You list yourself as Proficient so maybe I’m just out of your league with only a hand full of dives. We all started with zero so I know you can relate.
