Looking for lots of diving opportunities so need to stay cheap except once a year when I take a trip. Like camping and plan on inland and coastal dives to gain experience. Keep trips to drivable places. My home is in Georgetown, TX - just North of Austin.






I’m a high school science teacher so I have my summers and two weeks at Christmas free.




SCUBA diving since summer 2010. Have achieved rescue diver. My goal is to be an instructor in a couple of years.

diverfromtexas - 6/07/2012 10:49 AM If you haven’t checked out Clear Springs Scuba Park outside of Terrell, TX, do so. I like it more than Athens Scuba Park. It has a sunk plane and a fake shark you can swim thru and several platforms. What I like most is the visibility, aquatic plant life everywhere, and lots of fish. I swam with about 30 fish as they bottom fed for 25 minutes a week ago. Can’t get this at Athens. Also, Athens gets murky in the afternoon as divers stir up the clay bottom.
