Al from Armonk NY | Scuba Diver

I’ve been to Bonaire, St Thomas, Grand Cayman, Aruba, Little Cayman, Cozumel, Key Largo Turks & Caicos and Key West. I also dive fairly often at Dutch Springs and Fort Wetherill, RI. My D/B and I dove with Mel Fisher Enterprises in July 2011 looking for Atocha treasure. Unfortunately, our group found no gold or silver.

I also had the opportunity, with some members of my club (The Scuba Sports Club of Westchester) in co-operation with Guardian Scuba in Florida, to dive the waters of Cuba 6/7/16-6/14/16. The club runs 3-4 trips per year which are domestic and international. Upcoming trips are to San Salvador, Bahamas and Grenada for the remainder of the year. 2019 is offering a confirmed trip to the Red Sea and a potential trip to Roatan with others still remaining on the drawing board.

The next regular meeting will be held at Sir John’s Restaurant on July 11, 2018 beginning at 7PM.
The remaining club trips for the year will be San Salvador, Bahamas in August and a 5 day trip to Grenada in October.
Our 2019 trips, which are still being planned, are a probable liveaboard to Roatan in April and a confirmed Red Sea liveaboard in June.
Guests are welcome at our meetings.

Cuba was fantastic. People were great and could not do enough for us. No large life at Maria La Gorda but the underwater topography was awesome.
