Went from Discovery to Advanced in two weeks. Dove in the ocean, favorite dive site was Tortugas. Dove in the open water of the cenotes, favorite site was The Car Wash.

PADI Refresher Course 2008 (basically PADI Open Water class, but no written tests)

San Pedro, Belize
Dove the local sites, favorite dive was either the night dive at Hol Chan or Tackle Box. Took 2 trips out to the Lighthouse Reef Atoll and dove the Blue Hole, and Aquarium. Great experience at the Blue Hole, but the Aquarium was amazing. The best visibility and wildlife.

Dutch Springs, Bethlehem, PA
Did my PADI Dry Suit Cert here and although it was 43 degrees F, it was a great place to dive. They have several wrecks to explore.

Scuba Club Cozumel, Cozumel, Mexico
Drift diving at it’s best. I have to tell you, this was the best diving so far. There was so much life to see under water. Even shore diving right off of the resort was guaranteed to see plenty of fish, eels, octopus, and many other creatures! I did the C-53 wreck twice. It was a full penetration dive that took you through the entire ship. This is a WWII US mine sweeper that was sold to Mexico and sunk for tourism. There are lots of caves, deep caves like the "devils throat." Lots of fun, easy diving. I highly recommend it. Go with the full 3mm suit! It was jelly fish season in October, when I went, and I still got stung on the back of the neck! Ouch!
