I’ve been in love with the sea since age 7 when I experienced the ocean for the first time. The spot was La Jolla Cove in Southern California. I snorkeled there and put my head underwater for the first time. After that it was an addiction. Watching Jacques Cousteau on TV as a little kid didn’t help the addiction much either. I’ve been certified for 24 years (’86) . I took an Adv. Open Water a few month after that. I have actively dove all these years, commercially for a few years before Hurricane Andrew. Now after all these years I am trying to put some purpose to my diving with training in different specialties to keep things interesting.That’s me and my diving in a nutshell.
