This was a most excellent trip (as Bill and Ted would say) Only two other people were able to join me on this trip (Bill and Kat). Thursday: 0600 Bill picks me up at my house and we head to Covington to pick up Kat. After picking up Kat, we head to Morehead City. We arrived in Morehead City around 1530 and went straight to Olympus Dive Center to do our paperwork, pay for the fuel surcharges and our NITROX fills for the weekend. Checked into the Buccaneer Inn and then to eat at Sanitary Restauran...

I just returned from diving with Olympus dive center out of Morehead City, NC and had a fantastic time. Even though visibilty was below normal it was still great. Lots of sharks and for the most part a great bunch of divers. Want to say hi to the Sea Monkeys from Ontatio enjoyed meeting you folks. I would highly recomend Olympus and the Graveyard of the Atlantic for a dive trip. ...

July 4th NC WreCK TripSingleDivers.com I just returned from the NC Wrecks trip. This trip was through SingleDivers.com. We stayed at the Fisherman’s Inn in Morehead City, North Carolina. We dove with Diver Down. The trip was 4 nights, with 3 days of diving. We flew into Raleigh Durham and rented a van for the drive up to Morehead. Part of the highlights of this journey was to stop at wilbers for Carolina BBQ. The next day we began the diving. DIving in Carolina is different than the other diving...

Could be much worse, like Guppy Gulch quarry followed by not so glamorous BelAir. Need to practice with my recently purchased wreck reel and lift bag. Anybody got any pointers?? Anybody ever dove aboard the Mutiny with Atlantic Beach Divers??...
