Crazy journey....I got certified in Hawaii when I lived there when I was 12 (1996). Moved to Florida and didn’t dive because I didn’t know anyone to go with. Carried on with life not ever thinking about it and then last January I was in Cancun and my boyfriend at the time convinced me 2 days before leaving to dive again...freaked out at first and then fell in love. Logged 3 dives before we left. Went home to Wisconsin and got the itch so decided to go crash at my parents for a month in Florida and go get my AOW. Went to the Keys, completed that and just haven’t left Florida because I’m having too much fun diving. Since then I’ve done some Springs, went spearfishing and did the Venice shark tooth dive. Now planning my next move.
