I had over heard a few divers one time, discussing "Aqua Nookie" They were saying how fun it was, and even compared to how space nookie must be. I got to thinking about it, and to me it seems that aqua nookie would almost be impossible, if not worth the effort. What do you think? Have you ever done it? Seriously thought about it? Do you think it is really even possible?

Its fun, but you need a few supplies to really make it happen. Aqua Nookie is best performed in warm water, like we have in PBC in the summer. And a great slippery mixture that is semi-water soluble. My experience is each participant with own gear, but clip your fins on to a lanyard. Only one diver(like me) has to be very proficiant at hovering. In a strong current it is like flying and nookieing. Hover about 20 feet above the floor. That is the technical part. Without being offensive, as this is a kinda family place, positioning is left to your imagination, but you can e-mail me if you need help on this. And remember, for safety, always wear a "wet-suit"

And you thought it was just tough to keep sand out of your dive equipment!?!? It’s all in the lube I’m sure. Too bad my wife doesn’t dive. But I’m all for experimenting in the interest of science ;-) Any takers?

Found it to work well, with both wearing gear but kind of fun with female with the gear and male with just weight belt. Practice in pool a few hours first makes open water scubas_x easier. I found adding an extra 2nd stage on opposite side of reg works best, have a set dedicated just for it. Try it and you to can be a member of 5 fathom club. It really great in deep water toss a line over boat with a good clip so you dont find yourself 400 yards from boat. note: sorry but this needs to be done in Florida, toocold everywhere else.
