Looking for Dive Buddies - Las Vegas, Nevada; Portland, Oregon, & Near By

Hi All,

I just resumed diving after about a 2 year break (too many work hours and not enough time for fun). After taking a refresher course to confirm I had not lost my skills, I am really excited to be diving again. Unfortunately many of my old dive buddies have moved or are too busy with work, family, etc. to dive. So I am looking for more buddies to help keep me in the water.

Please let me know if you are looking for a dive buddy? I own my own business and travel quite a bit throughout the U.S. western states. With a little scheduling I am available to dive in WA, OR, CA, NV, etc.

That said I tend to spend most of my time in Nevada and Oregon so sites within a 2-3 hour drive of Las Vegas and Portland are ideal.

Keep Diving,
Michael

Hi.
Michael here.

I like to go diving when ever I Get the chance. I have lots of extra gear, and I like Lake Tahoe the most. The Blue Hole in Santa Rosa New Mexico is very nice. Point Lobos / Monterey is always good. Fallen Leaf lake. Donner lake. Clear Lake, Oregon. Mckenzie Blue hole in Oregon. Glass Beach California Coast. Blue Hole at Nevada Utah State line.
Any other Ideas of places let me know. I’m ready. 415 - 846 - 2450

Hey Michael,

I’m in the Portland Oregon area. I can always use another dive buddy. Like WaterBoy above says Clear Lake is pretty good here and there are a few river dives worth doing when they open the dams. But I mostly dive in the Puget Sound area. There are a couple of charter boats that go out and more than a few shore dives worth the drive. The close ones are about 2.5 hrs drive, the ones north of Seattle proper will run closer to 3.25 hrs. There is also a cold war era missile tube in central WA I’ve been wanting to do. The water is pretty cold up here (rarely over 50 and I’ve hit 34 before) but sounds like you expect that.
