Hello Everyone,


I have a Dive Trip planned for January 11-18th, 2009. It is a Cruise aboard the Carnival Conquest leaving from Galveston, TX and visiting the great dive locations of Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cayman Is., and Cozumel, Mexico. There will also be optional tours to other locations as well. This is a 7-Day Western Caribbean Cruise! The dive locations are great for beginners or advanced divers. All you-can-eat meals, nightly entertainment, cabins, daily onboard entertainment, 24-hour room service, fine cusine, buffets, and shows are included in your ticket price as well as all government taxes, fees, and port charges. Rates are $555.29 per person based on double occupancy (can be cheaper with triple or quad) ! This is over $250 off the current rate! We are looking for more divers or just vacationers to take part in this limited availability group rate. This would be a great trip for those who have family members or friends that are not divers! This sounds like a good trip. I just may have to surprise my wife with something like this. But then again, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise since she’s very active on this site :)

Would love to go on that trip...especially for that price...However, My wife is due with our second child that week...not sure th cruiseline would be happy celebrating a birth on-board...:-)

Are dives included in the price? If so how many per stopover? If not what is the per dive cost?


What is the itinerary? How long in each port of call?

SO YOU ARE NOT PAYING EXTRA FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS THAT DO NOT DIVE!

The Itinerary is as follows:

Sunday January 11-Sunday January 18, 2009

SUN depart Galveston [ at ] 4:00 pm

MON At Sea

TUE At Sea

WED arrive Montego Bay, Jamaica [ at ] 8:00am and depart 5:30 pm

THU arrive Grand Cayman [ at ] 7:00 am and depart 4:00 pm

FRI arrive Cozumel, Mexico [ at ] 9:00 am and depart 6:00 pm

SAT at sea

SUN arrive and disembark [ at ] 8:00 am

The food, cabin price, and all onboard activites (excluding the casino & spa) are included in your price. Dives are extra and you decide when and where you want to dive. You can book excursions online either through Carnival.com or other tour companies or directly through local dive shops. If we have enough people interested in one particular dive then we will organize a group for that. Otherwise, you are flexible to do how much or how little you would like in each port. I would suggest calling for more information or vistiting http://www.carnival.com . You can also find many local dives shops and tour oporators by doing a google search as well. We want everyone to be able to benefit from this great group rate but we do want to be flexible for everyone as well. If you are interested in a specific dive let me know and I can find the best deal for you and anyone else. Keep in mind though, this is a group rate! If you were to book this trip online today it would be way more (over $250 more per person). If you need anymore information feel free to send me an email or give me a call. We only have a few cabins available. If you would like to join us please call me today or as soon as possible to guarantee your spot with us. All Dive Buddy members including friends and family are invited to join. Divers or non divers are welcome at the same price.
