My son and I are flying into Ft Lauderdale in early October for a three days of diving. We’re thinking of driving down to Miami for the actual diving. We’re both open water certified. This will be his first blue water dive, so he’s pretty excited. I know absolutely nothing about diving in the Miami area, but I’d like to get hooked up with a dive shop that can take us out for two or three tank dives on all three days. We’d like to mix things up as much as possible with some reef dives, maybe a wreck dive, and possibly a night dive. Can anyone offer some solid recommendations? Thanks!

Miami diving is hook on, Ft. Lauderdale is drift diving. Unless you don’t want to do drift diving I would stay in Ft. Lauderdale.
