Have you thought about the Keys or Bahamas. Water is warmer and you might be able to get cheaper cost then the Red Sea.

I saw your posting it is not a live aboard ( land based) but plenty of good dive sites for a weeks diving, coral, macro life, some wreck dives, but worth the trip just to see the Thresher Sharks.
I was there in January this year with Thresher shark divers. I loved it that much I hope to go back next year wife permitting. there are pictures on my profile of the trip.

Blackbeard’s Cruises live-a-board is an inexpensive all inclusive trip to the Bahamas is a good one to do. I have done it twice.

The issue is the budget my friends is limited to £1500 including flights so would struggle to get out to your side of the pond for that
