It wasn’t in a wooden chest, but gold coins and buried treasure were found off the coast of Vero Beach totaling $4.5 million and coming from a 300-year-old wreck, Florida Today reports.

Brent Brisben and his crew dove off the coast of Vero Beach on July 30 and 31, recovering 350 gold coins valued at $4.5 million, according to Florida Today. Nine of the coins are known as Royals and are valued at $300,000 apiece because they were specifically made for Philip V, the king of Spain in the early 1700s
