Can anyone suggest a good dive charter out of Destin, FL and where is a good spot to dive. Did my OW dive in Destin in 91. The bridge rubble is the only place I know. Thanks for your suggestions

Try Scuba Tech for charter. I dive from private boat. Did Miss Louise (55’) and bridge rubble (71’) yesterday. Eglin Barge is very close to Destin Pass. These are all within the in shore range of local charters. Thomas Hayward is a liberty ship but further out, about 90’ deep and may be considered off shore at higher price.

Bigjeffro, I run a dive charter out of Destin, you can check us out on-line at bluewaterescape.com We have a ton of wrecks and reefs to dive in Destin. Everything from 60’-unlimited. I really like diving our natural reefs like the Timber Holes or the Inaugural Reef just to name a couple. For Wrecks, we got lots of tugs, barges, army tanks, 2 liberty ships, concrete structures, and a whole mess of other stuff that has been put down. And of course I must mention the USS Oriskany, as it is the largest artificial reef every intentionally put to the bottom and it can be visited from Destin.
