Today I was one of six volunteer safety divers for the swim leg of a local triathlon. The last I heard there were 278 swimmers with more signing up. The race stated at 7:50 am. I’m pleased to say that our swimmers were well prepared and everyone finished without assistance. I’ll be doing another one in August.
Do any of our other members do dive related activities for their community?

Our team provides rescue coverage for the local high school’s senior class canoe trip on the river. We also cover a large canoe/kayak race on the same river. The team also does water safety presentations for local schools and clubs.
