Did you ever get any info on Tybee Island? Have you been there yet? My son (certified diver looking for dive buddy in area) is stationed nearby at Beaufort, SC and my family and I plan on going there over xmas 2015. We are always looking for places to dive whereever we go.

Actually I didn’t, we went to St. Simons Island a little south and had a dive charter scheduled but it was cancelled due to bad weather. I was going to use South Georgia Dive Charter, they have a pretty solid reputation.
