Has anyone taken any of the classes at American Pro Diving Center? Looking at taken a few classes in August, but wanted to hear from people who have actually taken Scuba Classes from them. The staff seen very friendly over the phone.

I haven’t taken any classes from AmPro, but I have used them on many multiple occasions over the last 10 years. I have never had an issue with them and they have always been professional and fun. What class are you looking at taking?

I am taking the following:

Deep River
Mantee
Fish ID

Additionally, I am actually taking the Open Water Diver Course, with my partner, even thought I told a DiveMaster Rating from SEI (former YMCA Scuba Program) and do not need it.. It something to experience together.

Fish ID, are you a member of reef.org/ ? Diving with a bunch of experts will teach you fish ID in a hurry, doing reports from your dives will keep you sharp.

American Pro would be thee place to take the Manatee Specialty, Homosassa is home to most of the American Manatees. My son and grandkids live there so I get to snorkel with them a lot :)
