Inexpensive, small items can prevent you from scuba diving...like a broken mask strap or a bad o-ring. It’s good to be prepared and have backups. A Save-A-Dive kit can be worth it’s weight in gold!

What do you keep in your Save-A-Dive kit?

I’ll start with some of the basics:

Assortment of o-rings
Mask strap
Spare regulator mouthpiece
Zip ties
Extra batteries
Fin straps
Spare clips
Bungee cord
Scuba tool

I have 2 tool boxes of tools & rebuild kits. 1 for OC & 1 for CCR. I can pretty much field rebuild a regulator or my rebreather. Helps to be certified to service ScubaPro, Aqualung, Apeks, Oceanic, Hollis & Sherwood

The plugs that came out of your 1st. stage in case you need to switch hoses around between main, pony or deco tanks.

Duct tape.

Bicycle tube patch and the above listed Aquaseal for repairing BC and drysuit holes.

If you are diving dry and on a liveaboard extra seals, glue and accelerator.

An old DAN card for ID

i’m glad to see mine compares to those above. one thing you may want to consider. a while ago i changed out my BCD inflator hose to a lp braided hose with a quick release connector (dive gear express). This means from now on if the qc connectors fails I only change out a $8 part instead of a completely new hose and connector assembly. Also saves space while traveling.
