Exchange Reward Points for Scuba Retailer Discounts

Your reward points can be exchanged for discounts provided by scuba retailers. Retailers that wish to participate only need to add their discount offers to divebuddy.com. There is no charge to add your offers to our website. All members of DiveBuddy.com and public website visitors can view your offers.

Members that have enough points, can create a reward points certificate from the Rewards section. This certificate, along with a printed offer will be brought to the scuba retailer’s location in exchange for discounts on products or services.

This reward points program encourages divers to visit their local dive center or other scuba retailer. If discounts on scuba gear are provided...the retailer must have a physical location that the member can visit and a contact phone number must be provided on the offer.

When a retailer receives a reward point certificate, it is recommened that they log into DiveBuddy.com and Apply the certificate in the Rewards section before the discount is given. This ensures the certificate is valid and the member has enough points to receive the offer.

Retailers may use this program as way to promote their products or services. They may also credit their accumulated reward points towards advertising on DiveBuddy.com. The current rate of exchange is 1000 reward points for $100 in advertising. DiveBuddy.com must approve the ad first. Ads that compete with local dive centers are not permitted. See the Advertising section for more information.

Members will receive a message when they generate a new reward point certificate. They will also receive a message when the scuba retailer uses the certificate. A transaction of the certificate is kept in the reward points history page for each member.

Skimmed over it and it looks and sounds good, can’t wait to see what retailers are going to jump onboard with this. It apppears to be a win win for divebuddy members and retailers. Nice going.

Greg,

I just added a 25% discount on scuba gear for DiveBuddy members. I think this is a great new tool for both your retailers and divers alike. Good job!

Anyone coming down to Key West and booking dive and snorkel trips with me, will receive a 10% discount off the booking. Look up Key West in the "DIVE SITES" link and check out the Cayman Salvager and Joe’s Tug...Bubbles Up!

I initially didn’t remove them because I wanted retailers to see them in case they wanted to re-activate them. I’m going to remove expired offers from the main list though so most won’t see them unless your editing your own list of offers, then you’ll still see them.
