I’m sorry Greg, I know you must have worked hard on this new format, but I don’t like it at all.

So far I’m not liking it too much either- how do I access my old messages? They seem to all have disappeared.

If you want to complain it would be great if you told everyone
  1. what the problem(s) are.
  2. how to do it better.

Just complaining for the sake of complaining does not lead anywhere.

I love this new site, it is great. Thanks Greg!

Send constructive suggestions to me and I’ll do what I can. The new site will be much more functional once it’s complete. You just need to get used to somethings. I sent an email around to everyone and will again later...but all old messages are gone. Sorry about that. Post something in the Help forum if you have questions. Thanks, Greg.

Change is hard for some people, give it time, it may grow on you. So far I like what I am seeing.

Problem: Their is a yellow bar below the Name and Details basrs on the profile.aspx page. The bar makes it harder to read that top line of text since it’s half in and half out of the bar. I tried resizing the text in my browser but it appears that the layout of the page insists the text remain there.

Suggested solution: Remove those yellow bars. From the "home" page as well too, under my "name" bar it says that too.

One of the disappointments is that the blogs are no longer in the same attractive format as the forums. They are much less attention grabbing and don’t attract much interest. It does not encourage people to work on writing detailed posts with photos. BTW, do we need to rewrite out trip reports?

Another thing, I have been patiently waiting for my score to reach 200 so I can post more photos. My score hasn’t been updated since the changeover.

I’m not used to the new format, so some of my automatic actions under the old system don’t work anymore. Also I can’t see my friends list and such when I log on.

I haven’t decided if I like the new format or not, still getting used to it.

Give me a few more weeks guys. Your points are up now...I finished that on Friday. You will be able to add dive trips and events again soon. To see your buddy list you can click "Buddy List" at on the top right after you login. I will add your top buddies to your home page AND birthday reminders. Everything you were used to will be back soon. I just need some time to get it all transfered over to the new web code I’m using. Thank you for your patience! Greg.
