 Buddy Needed (TX) - Orientation Dives between 8-12-13 till 8-26-13

New to the Scuba world. Doing my cert dives next week, and would love to find a diver in the area to do a couple of orientation dives with. Show me your favorite dive sites in the area. Willing to travel up to 250mi or to the coast for a weekend.

Since I’m new at this, I would prefer to go out with someone who has a bit of experience and doesn’t mind showing a new diver the ropes - I’m sure that there are plenty of tricks beyond the standard open water dive course to learn.

Most importantly, just want to have some fun!

Given your location, I’d say driving up to 250 miles is required :). You are closer to Clear Spring Scuba Park. Check out that dive site on DiveBuddy and click the Who’s Been Here tab. Contact a few members that have been there. I know Havoc goes out there a lot. Look at the calendar also, there might be some upcoming get togethers in Texas.

Doing my Cert there on 10 and 11. I’ve also been told that Lake Murry, OK is a cool spot not too far from me.
