I know about Pirates Charter, but unfortunately, being a student, i can’t really afford 3 tank trip for the price requested, so i will have to pass. Scubagirl, my best bet is port Aransas jetties. It’s a shore dive done at high tide. Corpus Christi occasionally have charters going out, but not these 2 weekends. South Padre Island is unreasonably expensive (i’m a grad student, so food and shelter are important too), almost to the point that it would be cheaper for me to fly to Cali or FL and dive 2 days, then go on a charter in Texas. if you want, there is a dive shop in Corpus that organize the jetties dive. i think it is on Saturday Jul 27 meeting on 6 am and 6 pm ( high tide).
