I do not understand why some members keep their gender "private"! and if its such a secret..why post a picture giving everyone a good idea to which side you are leaning??? its not like we are asking your religion or political party or true hair colour! Would someone like to explain this to me.If you are going to keep anything secret..start with "kids at home"!

I have personally never noticed if someone has there`s marked as private and you bring up a good point. Why mark yours private and then post a picture of what is supposed to be you. But on the other side do it really matter what sex that they may be????

Mind your own profile.

yes,its a puzzle..it defeats the purpose of a gender specific search..unless Greg wants to add an "other" category.

We got rid of the Romance issue, so why do a gender specific search? I think a search by state or zip code would be more effective.

Judge not, lest ye be judged by your own standards. What does it matter if you are a straight or gay diver? If I am 80 feet under, all I care about is if you are a good, safe diver. Two go down together, two come up together. The love of diving is the common bond.

Maybe they are not sure of their own status..have you never heard of a gender identity disorder? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_identity_disorder

Well I didnt mean the romance issue was gotten rid of in the sense that it is gone... just that it was addressed before when people were complaining about all the harrassment and Greg took the part about romance off the front page of the website.

Besides... why are these people so concerned about other peoples profiles? Just block them!!!! Or go away yourself! This is a diving website, not a place for people to complain about other peoples profiles!! We don`t need this junk on here! It`s pissing me off that there are so many whinners in the diving community. I thought we were tougher than that?

Okay, Mr. thought police. I didn`t know Greg hired you to control what other members were allowed to say or think. Sorry. My bad. Bad commenters...bad, bad.

I am not trying to control what anyone says or does.... but jeez... quit being a F$@#!&^% idiot!!!!!

They probably do it to keep you in suspense. You REALLY need to get a life.

From some of the photos on here, I`d prefer that members keep their genders private AND their privstes gendered!

I am so sorry I asked! Obviously there are enough AR/PC new agers on here that instead of promoting diving and fun and getting together, maybe some nice yoga and tofu is in order
