 Suunto Vytec reset possible??

I recently acquired a Suunto Vytec computer from my dive instructor, does anyone know if it is possible to wipe out the logbook in one of these so I can start fresh??? Maybe a clear all to factory settings?

Hi, you could do ether of the following:

Contact Suunto directly as the are very helpful and respond to questions posted on their website... http://www.suunto.com/global/en/products/diving-instruments/Suunto-Vytec-DS#all



Or take it to a Suunto service centre listed on the website and have them remove the battery and reset it. I use the Vyper and if the battery is removed and not replaced in a few minutes, the info is lost and it will reset to 0. Not ideal, but might be a last option

I’m wearing a Suunto Spyder as a watch but haven’t used it yet as a dive computer - I don’t even know how! It’s a gift I got just before leaving the Philippines about a year ago. And just two days ago, the battery is spent! I will have the battery replaced at a Suunto Service Center then use it hopefully for my first dive here (OC area) sometime in July....:))
