Hi, you could do ether of the following:
Contact Suunto directly as the are very helpful and respond to questions posted on their website... http://www.suunto.com/global/en/products/diving-instruments/Suunto-Vytec-DS#all
Or take it to a Suunto service centre listed on the website and have them remove the battery and reset it. I use the Vyper and if the battery is removed and not replaced in a few minutes, the info is lost and it will reset to 0. Not ideal, but might be a last option
