 I need a buddy for July 2nd & 6th for Higgins Lake and/or Bear Lake in Michigan

I am a beginner diver without any experience after certification and would like to go to Higgins and/or Bear Lake to get more experience. I planned to do 4 dives with 3 or 4 tanks worth of air. (2 dives per day and per place if people want to go to both) Personally I’m Bringing 2 full tanks and then getting 1 fill for each at a scuba shop in Traverse City. If anyone wants to buddy up and lend me a hand in furthering experience I would be very grateful. Thank you!

Hey Diver_Eddie, congratulations on your certification. I would be hard pressed to commit at this time but as it gets closer I may be available for the 6th (gotta work on the 2nd). If you haven’t found anyone when your date gets closer hit me up via e-mail and I will see how my schedule is. I may even be able to round up a couple of extra divers. Is the Bear Lake you are talking about the one west of Grayling? And, if you aren’t going to Traverse City except for tank fills there is a shop in Cadillac that would save some driving.

Diver_Eddie-I am forced to decline the dive trip. Obligations around the house and with the family require attention. I hope that you are having a great summer and that you will find someone that can make the dives with you.
