Valcour Island - Lake Champlain


Has anyone dove here. If so - what’s the vis like?

I have a cousin near Burlington so you peaked my interest and I did a search, not much info out there. I did convert a duplicate Lake Champlain "Dive Site" into Valcour Island, NY so you can update us and it when you get back :)

Aquatic Explorers http://www.aquaticexplorers.org/calendar.htm is planning a trip there in July so maybe they can give you more info or you can join the trip.

The museum’s ROV video http://www.lcmm.org/museum_info/shipwreck_tours.html gives you an idea of the vis, maybe 5’ plus the museum has a replica of the Philadelphia which is sank at Valcour, might be interesting to walk around before diving it.
