Hi,
The Blue Lagoon is currently closed for the winter and opens the the weekend of March 24th. Though I’m not from Houston, the Diving Rebels Scuba Club is hosting an outing at the Blue Lagoon in Huntsville the weekend of March 24-25 and you’re welcome to come dive with us. All the details haven’t been worked out yet, but more information will be available on our website www.divingrebels.org.

There is a very active dive group in Houston called CHUM. They meet every 3 Thursday of the Stags Head in the area of Sheppard and 59. Fun Group.

I would love to go to the meet but I work during the week days and the location is far for me. Thanks for leting me know about CHUM. I’ll look into the club.

They do have a meeting sometimes in the north but not often and it is not official. Go to their website and meet some of them ahead of a real meeting. They are very active.

That would be great. Where did you get certified? Yeah in the beginning of April I’ll be in Belize, so maybe when I get back from my trip. The water is too cold for me now. Only if I had a drysuit.
