It’s been a busy few months organizing the Dive the Coast event, but we’re making some good progress. We had a kick-off dive in Monterey last month, and an article about it is in the Nov/Dec edition of California Diver magazine. We’ve also gotten support from numerous organizations, including O’Neill, Save Our Shores, Oceanic, LeisurePro and countless others. Please help spread the word about this, as any money we raise will go toward local ocean conservation organizations.
We’re doing another DTC dive Saturday, Nov. 19, starting at 9 a.m. from Breakwater Cove in Monterey, if anyone wants to join us. Seven Seas Scuba on Cannery Row has also offered to host an after-party, where we’ll have pizza and stuff. That’ll be our last event until the start of the new year, but we’re going to keep the momentum going until the big dive in 2013.
