Does anyone have any tips for dive shops or accommodations in La Paz, Mexico? I’ll be travelling solo and on a budget next month.

We stayed many years at the Los Arcos hotel, but it has been closed for the last couple of years.
We have dived several trips with Buceo Carey, and they have always been great. They use pangas, so usually only about 6 divers and dive guide for their 3 tank day trips.

I stayed a few days at the Mediteranian I believe was the name. Only a few rooms, but comfy clean, great location and setting. The cafe had great coffee and good breakfasts and attached restaurant was good. I got it on expedia for 40$US a night. It is about 10 steps from the Malecon and there is a little store right next to it to get beer, water, pop snacks.
