Really Deep Diving

I recently watched the DVD set titled "The Jacques Cousteau Odyssey" In one of the DVD’s they dive to a ship wreck at 397 feet. They spent something like 9 minutes at depth, then they made their way to a dive bell chamber waiting for them at 150 feet. They were brought aboaqrd the Calypso still in the dive bell chamber, where once on the ship, they stayed in the bell for something like 4 hours. Once checked out and ok’d by the doctor, they were allowed to leave the bell and go on deck of the ship. They did use a mixture of gasses, presumably helium etc..., I’m not a tech diver so I don’t know what gasses or proportions of gasses they used. Given the chance, using the same tpe equipment, under the exact ciecumstances, would you do such a dive?

[Choose #2] Someone has to do something first or nothing progresses... The PIONEERS are always the risk takers.

[Choose #3] Doesn’t appeal to me. I enjoy the sights I see and relaxing in the shallows
