I’d like to make a week long trip somewhere warm (Cabo, Carribbean) in late April/early May plan to book a week at a time share exchange looking for someone interested in joining.

Let me tell you that the water in Cabo will not be warm until fall. It is very cold in the spring and summer! So you might not want to go diving there then.
