If you make it to Southern California you should try and hit Casino Point for the day, on Catalina Island, and hour fifteen ferry ride. It’s almost always guaranteed a great dive, compared to the West Coast in general. But drop my a line when you know the dates you will be in town and I can give you a more up-to-date recommendation. Enjoy your trip!

It is a bit south of I-40 but once you hit Texas why don’t you drop south a bit and dive the missle silo at Valhalla? Then on the way back up you could stop by Possum Kingdom - but I understand that it has been a bit murky recently.

I make very frequent trips to Las Cruces and Phoenix, and plan on doing some diving in Alb, NM this year. I would like to do some diving in Phoenix also so hopefully I can hook up with someone down there. If any of you make it to Texas, Corpus Christi Diving Club would be more than willing to take you out for a few dives around the area.
