Hey Everyone..
I’m headed to MacDill AFB for a two week course on Sunday, 14 March.. Saturday the 20th, we’re booked on a meg tooth charter at Venice Beach. Sunday, we’re looking for a Spring to hit to rinse off the gear. Any fresh water closer to the Tampa area than Rainbow River that’s worth diving??

The closest place that I’m aware of would be the Hudson Grotto.

you have blue grotto and devils den in williston about 11/2 hrs from tampa in fact i might be @blue grotto on monday, not a bad dive good way to spend a couple of hours.

Check viz there, I hear that it is usually poor, like 10’. Can’t say from experience since I didn’t go there after I heard that.

Thanks.. After taking a poll with my group, they decided to hit BG on Sunday.. If anyone is going to be in the area, come join us.. I’ll have my DiveBuddy.com banner with me and we’ll take some pics there with it.. I’ll be in a dark blue 07 Tundra and you’ll see my "dragon hood" when I’m diving.
