why would you need a 30 cubic foot pony for a 120? a 13 or 19 is more than enough for any diving that you will do with a 120. If you want more bottom time then consider getting doubles?

In V.A. and N.C. most of my spearfishing is at 100 to 130 ft and at 130 ft I did the math and with a safety stop a 30 will get me up with not mutch to spare.I would like to use a 19 but in a emergency at 130 ft I dont think it would be enough. Thanks, Bayfever

I also think 19 would be plenty.Just say you where at 120 ft.It took you 4 minutes to ascend which is very conservative and a 3 minute safety stop.Say you use 2 cuft per minute. That is 14cuft.You would have 5 cuft left. That should be fine

I would suggest drysuit bottle straps. Halcyon makes a set for a 14 cubic foot tank. One side straps to your back gas bottle and the other side straps onto the pony/drysuit bottle. The difference in diameter is only about an inch more from a 30 cubic to a 14 cubic.
