I’m not a diving medical specialist, so do call DAN, but it sounds to me like you just got a little mask squeeze while free diving. Its easier to have happen while free diving because its harder to equalize with out a reg in your mouth. And you dont think about the mask sucking on your eyeballs when you reach depth. But do call DAN and see what they say. :) And let us know what the concensous is please!

I called DAN and they were very helpful. I let them know the situation and they said that I could go back as soon as I’m comfortable. As long as my eye sight is fine and that I don’t repeat the scenario. When this happened I definitely felt the squeeze and knew that I was pushing it. It was my last ab and was ready to call it a day. So I know now when to abort the dive and return to the surface. They also recommended a free diving mask it is a low profile mask that clears much easier than a regular scuba mask.
Very cool........greatly appreciate it

Yes I am familiar with them. I use to be a memeber a while ago. I just didn’t think to contact them until your suggestion.
Thanks again.
