Where did you end up going? I will be there for my honeymoon in two weeks. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Maui was awesome, my first trip. My first dive was a shore dive just north of Lahaina. Had to carry my gear through the jungle but worth every step (500 of them) Dove on a reef found a turtle taking a nap at about 40 feet in a small cave. He woke up and swam with me until he went to the surface. (I had to make the 15 foot break, he didn`t) It was amazing. The next day I got on a boat with a dive group and went across the ocean to Lanai and dove on the Cathedral. (70 feet) It takes your breath away. Simply amazing. Fantastic. Unreal. A must go. The second dive that day was on No Name. (60 feet) Huge reef lots of variety of fish but no big fish.

Rented my shore dive equipment from Maui Dive Shop. They were very nice but with a weight belt. My first time with a weight belt and it was ackward for me. They could not get me on a boat the next day but Gary (I think?) at the shop at the Cannary Mall made some calls and booked me for the boat dive with Lahanai Dive shop. They also were great and their equiptment was better (no weight belt) Did not see any large fish, that was the only dissapointment. Fantastic trip, have a blast.
