I’ve already got plans to be diving up in Ky or I’d meet you. I would recommend going to Philadelphia quarry instead, about 20 miles from Loch Low Minn.

I’ve tried to dive Loch Low Minn 3 times and they have been closed without posting it. Also, on their website they claim they can open up during the week as well as long as you call ahead of time and I have called twice when I took vacation and they said they couldn’t open up.

When I called while they were closed and supposed to be open the person on the phone was rude and told me "It was always best to call ahead of time before driving out there".

Conversely I have found the people at Philadelphia quarry to be extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. They are open 24/7/365 and if no one is working the site when you enter they have a drop box and you pay on the honor system. Need tanks for a night dive after they have closed? Call them ahead of time and they will have tanks filled and left waiting for you, again with tank rental payment on the honor system.

Visibility was good, easy shore entry or a platform set up for both giant stride and back roll entries, and depths to 100’+ if you like to go deep.
