I don’t know about actual qualifications, but you could always contact one of the great camera shops such as they will actually work with you and offer dive & photography workshops and give you lots of advise. They are really great!
I get my kit from Blue water photo store as they are very knowledgeable and offer these pro workshops on a regular basis
