For purely recreational diving, yes there are lots of other places with better or more interesting wrecks, and for fish and coral, this is not the place. But it is an excellent training facility, whether for completing courses, testing new equipment, or just to "refresh" the skills. There are a lot of regional dive centers that come there for just those purposes. Would I rather be diving in the Caribbean? of course, but that is not always possible.
