Hi- I would recomend visiting one or two of the Maui Dive Shops { many locations }. You can pick up rental tanks and a map showing the shore dive locations around the island. If you chat up the guys working the shop you may be able to hook up with other shore divers. I would also recomend Maui Diamond as a great dive op. I have used them many times and have always been happy.
