Hi I`m looking to invest on a regulator, for deep diving in tropical conditions. I have zeroed down to scuba pro -1st stage MK 25 t (piston, balanced) & 2nd stage Mk 600t (balanced, adjustable), with octopus R 190. Any remarks on the above or other recommendation`s are welcome. Thanks in advance

I, too, have the MK 25 with the 555 and 600`s. Good regulators and durable. I would however, encourage you to have the same 2nd stage as an octopus as well. The reasoning is simply, should something go wrong the replacement will be of comparable quality. In an emergency, you want a "top" performer", not a poor second.

I have the MK25/S600 for my primary, and an R-190 as my secondary. This set up works well and I have no complaints, except the 190 is not a cold water reg. I`ll be upgrading to a G250HP for my secondary when I get home. The G250 breaths the same as a S600 and is bullet proof—and it might save you a bit of cash. (I have MK25/S600s on all my deco bottles also)

I`ve been through 4 different regs. I`ve settled on the Oceanic Delta 4. It`s suited me in a variety of cold/warm/deep environments. You should, however, be happy with your choices. They are both good regs.
