 Houston, we have a problem.....

Be safe with Ike, please give periodic reports and damage assessments. First and foremost to make sure you’re o.k. Secondly, i’m travelling to Houston next week and would like to know conditions (in south Houston Medical Center area in particular).

Not positive about medical center, but about an hour ago...99% of surrounding areas in Houston are still without power and only 26% have power in Houston. I bet that one of those areas is the medical center though due to it’s importance. Travel safe and bring a few gas tanks. You’ll have to go about 100 miles out of Houston if you need gas.

Thanks. Spoke to a doctor at MD Anderson this morning and said the hospitals are coming back on line but it’s still a bad situation around Holcombe and South Main. My hotel is totally off line and can’t reach any one. Keep the updates coming.........
