I am trying to get to Florida in late October. Does anyone have a dive shop or area to recommend around Fort Lauderdale?
Thanks!

Well if you are that close, land in Lauderdale and then drive an hour to Key Largo. Best dive spot in the US. I myself like the shop "It’s A Dive" in Key Largo, It is in the Mariotte ( not sure) hotel and they do all the water sports for the hotel. If you are going to Key largo, its better to land in Miami than Ft Laudersale. You can also drive the hour and a half to Key West if you are in Key Largo. THATS A FUN PLACE!!! Have a nice time

I’ve used these guys before. They’re in Pompano Beach but they’re good. Nice wrecks and drift dives.

I use Brownie’s Southport Divers (http://www.yachtdiver.com/)... They are a squared away operation and their dive boat is behind the shop. Too easy. Great people and service.
