Yes, I remember NASDS. That was the very first "sport diving" agency that I got certified through. I don’t hear much about them these days. Don’t even know if they are still in operation.

I was cetified by NASDS also. I believe the were absorbed by SSI. At least when I wanted to get a new card that is who issued it.

I was ceted by NASDS in 89’, and still have the old card with the "diver info" microfiche. :p
They are absorbed unter the SSI umbrella, and SSI is the agency replacing lost cards. http://www.divessi.com/nasds
NASDS Divers
In 1999, NASDS - The National Association of Scuba Diving Schools - merged with SSI - Schuba Schools International - and in 2001 the NASDS Certification Cards were discontinued. In case you will need a Replacment Card, you will now receive an SSI Certification card to replace your old or lost NASDS Certification Card.

Thanks for the information! My old C-Card is falling apart and has long since been replaced by other certifications. it’s just nice to find the piece to the puzzle.
