I wouldent trust any diver center in a third world country. Sorry but that’s the hard truth.

From NORTHEAST: I wouldent trust any diver center in a third world country.

Then you’ll miss out on a lot of the world’s best diving! ;)

As far as Cancun, I have experience with an outfit called "Scuba Cancun" and it’s right on the edge of the Hotel Zone. Decent rates (comparable to what you might pay in the South Florida) including equipment and they took me to some pretty cool dive sites. The diving around Cancun is all patch reef and weed beds - But there are TONS of fish and operators have placed some statues and things to keep things interesting to the casual swimmer.

Not saying I don’t dive around the world but when I do I dive all my own equipment. I should have been more detailed. I wouldent trust there gear. Understand I’m a tec diver and everything has to be precise. ;)
