Not sure if it is small enough, but Oceanic has the Omega II & Hollis has the 500SE.

I use an Oceanic Omega which is side exhaust but alas they don’t make them anymore either :(

Oceanic just came out with the Omega II about a year ago. Same regulator as before with an updated body.

Does the 500SE not also have a proprietary hose? I’ve seen pictures (hard to tell),... but have yet to have one come in for service.

Gotchya. I was mistaken earlier,... Oceanic now has the Omega III, not II. Looks like it has a swiveling hose attachment... whether proprietary or not,... it is hard to see from pictures.

Take a look at the Poseidon Cyklon or Streams too. The use a standard LP reg hose. I thing Poseidon makes the Hollis if I’m not mistaken.

From john_f: Take a look at the Poseidon Cyklon or Streams too. The use a standard LP reg hose. I thing Poseidon makes the Hollis if I’m not mistaken. The problem with Poseidon used to be and may still be they use a different IP pressure so there is no mixing brands of 1st, 2nd and octopus regs

From LatitudeAdjustment: The problem with Poseidon used to be and may still be they use a different IP pressure so there is no mixing brands of 1st, 2nd and octopus regs True, the Streams run at 123psi, the Cyklons 166psi. So a deal breaker if you want to run at the usual 135ish. Also, a friend verified that I was mistaken about the Poseidon/Hollis relationship.

Thank you for the info....the poseidon regs unfortunately do not take the abuse that happens in stunt and water shows.....and they seem to be more touchy for the dive techs on the staff to maintain, and they are expensive.... we will try the Hollis, and the Omega, and the Mares octopus.... Also looking for the thinnest lp hose to go to the regs.....working with a costume designer for an underwater show.....and they are trying to hide the hoses....Have used milflex....anyone know of thinner hoses?

I would think, Pete, that regualtor hoses can only get so small before it would affect the work of breathing on the second stages. Where that limit is,... I do not know.
