Besides scuba diving while on vacation...how far is an acceptable driving distance to go scuba diving in your neck of the woods?

In the comment section, list the longest distance you have ever traveled by vehicle, solely to go scuba diving...from and to.

[Choose #5] North Dakota lakes are very silty so to get to a Minnesota lake with any kind of visibility is at least a 2 to 3 hour drive. Just drove 5 hours to get to my advanced open water dive.

[Choose #3] I prefer to keep local dive trips under a 2 hour drive. The longest I’ve traveled for a single dive trip is 3 hours from Huntsville, TX to Lake Travis in Austin.

[Choose #2] With the price of petrol here, can’t afford to go very far anymore unless there’s a group. If it’s a group then will drive further.

[Choose #3] From Philadelphia, splitting the difference between Cape May and Brielle, I pcik the 1 1/4 hours to Brielle. 4 hours round trip on land and twenty plus mile offshore to Cape May makes for a long day. But it’s all the same diving, I might drive longer
