Hello!

I will be in the Tampa Bay area the first and second week of March, and I am looking for a dive buddy! If you are also looking for a diving buddy, maybe we can be buddies!

I am a level two open water, and own all of my own equipement. I have never dove in the ocean yet, only lakes and quarries, but I can’t wait to dive in the ocean!

I wish I lived in Tampa Bay to take you.  (sorry, I’m on the other coast)   But I would suggest either doing a search on this site for divers in that area and reaching out direct to them via messages (not everyone checks this board every day), or just sign up for a charter when you are there and meet new people on the boat.  No doubt the DM on the boat will take you under his/her wing at the minimum.  If it’s your first time diving in the ocean it would be advisable to make your first dive under supervision.  Perhaps you could contact the local dive shops in Tampa and ask if they would schedule a guided tour like many tropical resorts do?  Stay wet!!
