 Problems with Yahoo! email (read this if you use Yahoo!)

If you have a Yahoo! email account registered with your DiveBuddy profile, you may be having problems receiving email from other members on DiveBuddy. I’ve attempted to contact Yahoo! for the last several weeks, but so far I haven’t gotten a response. No other email service providers are having issues with email except Yahoo!.


I recently signed up for a test Yahoo! email account and used their customer contact form to send them a message about this. It would help if they also hear from other Yahoo! email account holders.



Please login to your Yahoo! email account and go to Help > Contact Us > Contact Customer Care (reply needed) > then click the All-New Yahoo! Mail Technical Help Form



(You can try to click the link above to go directly there, but you may have to follow the steps listed.)



Send them a message stating that you are having problems receiving email from "DiveBuddy.com" and you don’t know why. Forward any response you get from them to me or post the response to this forum topic.

From what I can tell, it seems they recently changed their email policies and I’m working to find out what needs to be done, if anything, on my end.

Hi Greg,


I have a yahoo e-mail account. I tested it today by sending two new buddy request. I did get a e-mail back to my yahoo mail account that my request was accepted. I was also able to e-mail a divebuddy in response through my mail. Hope this helps.

Greg, I recently had trouble sending messages to you from my personal e-mail (earthlink is my e-mail host). I received a undeliverable message after 48hrs. Maybe there is an e-mail Gremlin going around.

Hi Greg,

It’s funny that you sent out this forum because it took nearly twenty-four hours for me to get a reply back to join Divebuddy.com. My friend said that it only took them seconds to get a reply back when they joined. So, I followed the link you mentioned and sent Yahoo customer service a message.
